IEP is an Individualized Education Program. This program is to help sharpen the educational plan for the child so that he or she can reach her full potential. It focuses on only one child.
IFSP is an Individual Family Service Plan. This plan helps family and children that need help to improve the development of their child.
IEP and IFSP both help family with their child proper development but the difference is that IEP focuses on educational need of the the child and it is an education document for children age Three to Twenty-one. IFSP plan applies only for children from birth to three years of age.
